Hello Bill,

There have been no public responses to your question, so I think I will 
give you a heads up.

Before you go down that path you should be aware that
Chameleon, although once very popular and feature rich, is getting quite 
old and stale...you might want to consider using an active application 
package instead.  You will have a much easier time getting support for 
an active package.

That said, there is a Chameleon mailing list where you can find free 
help, and also there are a few companies around that offer professional 
support for Chameleon and other MapServer-based applications, so yes 
there are some of us 'watching over your shoulder' :)
