[MS4W-Users] highlighting a vector layer in mapserver produced in qgis

Hello again
I use Quantum GIS(1.6.0) Windows 7 with data moved to mapserver.

I have 2 questions:
1. If you have a vector line layer(such as a road or railway line), that you
want to highlight only a certain section of, is it possible to do that in
qgis before exporting to mapserver? And if not, can it be done in Mapserver
and how would you do that?

2. If on the vector line layer which you have highlighted you want to have a
starting and ending point noted with a red bullet or pin( I’m not sure of
the proper term), how is that done?
