It is my intention to try and address the orthographic problem in mapserver
- really the problem is that most, if not all, of the mapproject.c functions
don't check for failures coming out of PROJ.4.  I have asked the original
reporter to submit a bug report in the MapServer bugzilla which I don't
think has happened yet.
