[Proj] error compiling proj 4.4.9 on Solaris 9

Hi, List!

A try to compile proj 4.4.9 on my Solaris 9:

SunOS 5.9 (Solaris 9.0)
CPU: 2 x UltraSparc IIIi
make: 3.80
gcc: 3.1.1
ld: 5.9-1.390


and I get an error:
