That's interesting. The transform seems to work fine with the online NADCON tool.  And, considering that the position is on land in the city of San Francisco it should!

I know it's the "left coast" and all, but the position isn't even as far west as Cape Mendocino -- which is the farthest west point in California at roughly -124.41 longitude.
