[TinyOWS-users] DescribeFeature as JSON

I'm wondering, can tinyOws return DescribeFeature responses as JSON?

I tried setting outputFormat=JSON like (
http://localhost/cgi-bin/tinyows?service=WFS&request=DescribeFeatureType&version=1.0.0&outputFormat=JSON
)
and altough it doesn't give me an error - it still returns XML.

Setting outputformat to anything else (like GeoJSON, Json) gives me:
<ExceptionText>OutputFormat is not supported</ExceptionText>
while the above request just quietly returns XML.

Anybody have any pointers regarding this?
