[Chameleon] Getting the samples working

Hello,

I'm having troubles getting the sample applications working.  As near
as I can tell everything is installed and configured correctly.  This
is on a Fedora Core 2 machine using the rpms from
http://mappinghacks.com/rpm/fedora/2/ plus the php-dbase rpm from
http://phprpms.sourceforge.net/.  I've been fighting with getting
Chameleon up and running for a good part of the day. :(  I hope
someone can shed some light on the errors below which are from the
apache server log when I access sample_basic_plainbuttons.phtml:
