Hello Peter,
I recently added an address search feature to my Chameleon site using
the Yahoo Geocoding API. I added the functionality to a custom SQL
query widget that Bill Bronsema at DM solutions created for
us. Basically, I get the user's address and selected search radius,
go out to yahoo and get the lat/lon, then run a query against a
PostGIS database to find all parks within the selected distance of
the address. To see it in action, visit www.parkinfo.org. If you're
interested, I could share the code that I used to accomplish this and
I'm sure you could integrate it with the Locate widget.
Regards,
Jennifer
