[Chameleon] highlight text and map

The thing is that Chameleon maps are simple images. You don't have any 
features on the client side. With the MapTips widget you have an 
imagemap on the top of your map image. You could probably define few CSS 
rules to create a highlight effect. That's the only way I can think of now.

There's really now way to do that?
I developed lot of stuf for Chameleon. I'd like not (and have no time)re start developing  for Fuse or other Framework.
If there are solutions, I'll really appreciate.

It's not possible to highlight dynamically your features in the map with 
only a mouseover. If you really want to do so. I would suggest to have a 
look at OpenLayers based technology such as:

http://openlayers.org/
http://mapfish.org/
http://trac.osgeo.org/fusion/

Hello Julien.

For highlighting texts I've an idea: hovering over the map I get an ID I can use to change the related CSS.
But How I can do for maps (or part of a map)?

I would suggest to
 look at the MapTiops widget. It adds events for this 
kind of behavior.

Hello
I’m developing an 
interactive atlas and I’d like to highlight some texts when
hovering over parts 
of the map and highlight parts of the map when hovering over the related
text. In my my 
spreadsheet I’m 
displaying
on the screen, text entities have 
attributes with unique ID.
 I 
started with Cursorpos Widget
but I got problems: getting X and Y coordinates, etc.
Can you please help me 
finding out what would be the best way to do
this?
