[FWTools] HDF5 support on linux

Ugh, such a simple answer.
Out of curiousity - Is that any specific reason why HDF5 wasn't built into
the linux version? I'd like to compile my own version with this support as
it's pretty important to me at the moment. Any technical hurdles preventing
this?
