[ka-Map-users] Clear cache, missing tiles

Hi Chris

if you have removed the files from the server cache and the browser
cache, then ka-Map will attempt to create new tiles in the server cache.

Here are some things that can go wrong:

1) apache doesn't have permission to create the cache directory and you
need to manually create it and provide write permissions to apache

2) there is an error in your map file and/or data and causes mapserver
to produce a fatal error.

To debug 2), load ka-Map in firefox, wait for the images to fail, then
open the page info dialog and click the Media tab. Click on any of the
tile.php links and copy/paste it into your address bar. If it is a
MapServer error, then you will likely see error messages at this point
that indicate what the problem is.

Cheers

Paul
