Lorenzo,

right, I've run into this before but had forgotten that this could be  
an issue.  I think I figured this out somewhere but I'm not sure ...  
I'll let you know if I find the solution.

(It could be as easy as deactivating the current tool on mouseover  
and activating it onmouseout?)
