[maplab-users] PostGIS layer, multiuser support...?

Just firing up MapLab ... neat stuff!

Before shameless hacking at things and making a mess, just wondering about suggestions, strategies, overall design philosophy, etc. for adding support for PostGIS layers.

I was thinking about a new section in the mapedit.xml file, that lists info for one or more PostGIS databases, from which one would list entries in the 'geometry_columns' table, etc.

Also, wondering if it would be reasonable to search through the http POST headers for 'Authenticate' info, and if a username were found, append that info to the 'project' directory path, soas to support multiple users of the same Maplab site.
