[Mapserver-ottawa] Blank Screen Problem for new user !!!

Hi all
    I am new user to MapServer and I am finding some anomalies with the demo 
based on MapServer . I have extracted ms4w into c/ms4w /apache ...ms4w/apps 
etc . And have also downloaded a demo into apache/htdocs/itasca . I have 
demo_init.html , demo.html and demo.map inside the itasca folder . I ran the 
apache and tried with http://localhost/itasca/demo_init.html
I got a "demo interface with map server " page and i got a demo.html page 
displayed after clicking "interface" button . But there is nothing displayed 
in the page but only a dark screen is displayed . whyso ? Am i missing 
somthing . I looked into demo.html and the following code snippet shows that 
we need to mentions the *.map file's root.

<input type="hidden" name="imgext" value="[mapext]">
<input type="hidden" name="map" value="map">
<input type="hidden" name="savequery" value="true">

<input type="hidden" name="program" value="/cgi-bin/mapserv_36.exe">
<input type="hidden" name="map_web_imagepath" 
value="c:/ms4w/Apache/htdocs/tmp/">
<input type="hidden" name="map_web_imageurl" value="/tmp/">

Here in line <input type="hidden" name="map" value="map">
Am i supposed to mention the path of the demo.map file ? So I tried my 
changing the path to
<input type="hidden" name="map" value="htdocs/itasca/demo.map "> But when I 
got the same demo.html page the screen remained blank again . I clicked on 
the blank screen and got an error message
msLoadMap() : can not open "/htdocs/itasca/demo.map " .
Could any of u throw light on this ?
