[MS4W-Users] gd/jpeg format

Hello,

I was noticed on a mapserver post that gd/jpeg is no longer supported.  For
certain data I like to use that format because 1) GD is quick and 2) jpeg is
compressed so it's a good web format.  Are my assumptions about gd/jpeg
wrong?  Are there any current charts that test the different speeds between
the map server format?
