[MS4W-Users] MS4W version 3.0 (January 17, 2011) what is about other PHP-Extensions?

Hello (or Hallo) Evgeni,
I had a similar problem, I missed the exif-Extension in the
ms4w-package, posted a similar question to the mailing-list and filed a
"bug" to http://bugzilla.maptools.org (Bug 2261).

Jeff McKenna was so kind to include exif in the current version of ms4w.
In the meanwhile I used a workaround as described on the
ms4w-installation-docs
(http://www.maptools.org/ms4w/index.phtml?page=README_INSTALL.html#k-installing-the-ms4w-mapserver-binaries-in-other-environments)
and added just the ms4w-php-mapscript-extension to a "normal"
apache-php-installation with enabled exif- (and-all-other) extension.

I will go on with this kind of php-mapscript-installation (although exif
now included), because I think it's the most flexible way to get a
php-mapscript in combination with all other php-extensions without to
compile it on your own.

The only (small) problem was to find matching apache and php-versions.

Viel Erfolg...

Ludwig

Ok, the server was build with the most common extensions like MySQL, SOAP and others. But I just miss a SHMOP, Tidy and also a PDO-Mysql. So is that possible to upgrade the MS4W with this common extensions, so that I can also use them?
