Jason,

The obvious advice is to reduce your -wm setting.

I don't know specifically why you are running out of
memory, but there can be issues of memory fragmentation
in the heap that can make it hard to take advantage of
the full 2GB of memory spacethat should presumably be
available to 32bit processes on your system.
