[FWTools] Probably did something stupid...

Thanks for your help.  Unfortunately the smile stuff is only available as
binaries, but they say that they were built with gcc 4.1.1, I will have to
look into doing a build of gdal.  Thanks again, you are always quick to
respond and very helpful.
